Donald A. Feurer, age 85 of Westerville, OH, passed away November 12, 2015 at home. “Art” was born on August 13, 1930 to Donald H. and Violet (Coats) Feurer. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marilyn A. (Stauch) Feurer and grandson, Phillip Jenkins. He is survived by his six children, Debby Feurer (John Rohal, Jr.), Mark Feurer (Vikki), Becky Feurer (Mike Buoni), Jeannie Wolfe (Chris Gardner), Fred Feurer (Mary) and Lisa Feurer; fourteen grandchildren and nine great-children. He was a good man, a good father and an even better grandfather and great-grandfather. After graduating from Powell High School in 1948, he joined the Ohio National Guard retiring after 20 years of service with the rank of Captain; in 1948 he began a 35 year career with Ohio Bell. In 1986 he and his wife moved to Florida where he worked as a Telephone Service Manager for Pinellas County for 10 years. They returned to Ohio in 1998 to be near their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He created a village, full of love for one another, respect for our country and a strength that knows no bounds. He worked hard and loved what he did; teaching his children the importance of a great work ethic. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, November 25th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville.
