LASKY
Dolores A. Lasky, age 84, of Westerville, OH passed away Saturday July 19, 2014 at St. Ann’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 21, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late George and Rose Sarkis Korey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert L. Lasky, brothers Tony and Charles; sisters Laurise and Pauline. Dolores retired from K-Mart but she worked for over 50 years in retail, including a job as an elevator operator at the Alcoa Building in downtown Pittsburgh. She is survived by her family, son Robert (Becky) of Pataskala, OH; two daughters Eva (Jeff) Speaks of Westerville, OH and Kathy (John) Brown of Mosinee, WI; two grandchildren Myron Stewart and Miriam (Steve) Leland of Columbus, Ohio. brother Joe (Mitzy) Korey; sister-in-law, Adele Korey of Pittsburgh, PA and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road Westerville, 5-8 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday July 24, 2014 at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, 313 North State Street Westerville, OH. Rev. Fr. David E. Gwinner Celebrant. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery.

Dear Rob, Eva and Kathy, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom meant a lot to me and all our families. I’m grateful to have had a chance to speak to her a few weeks ago.
It is hard to lose a loving parent, and knowing that they are now with other loved ones will hopefully give you peace. God bless you.
