SIERADZKI

Diana Sieradzki, 72, of Westerville, OH, formerly of Brier Hill, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 8, 2014, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born June 8, 1941 and met the love of her life, Ed Sieradzki, to whom she was married 52 years, while attending Redstone High School in Repiblic, PA. Diana is survived by her husband, Ed; 3 children, Eddie (Noelle), Michelle (Chad Head) and Allen Sieradzki (Tara Nojunas); 5 grandchildren, Evan, Allie, EJ, Ethan and Catherine Sieradzki; in-laws, Edward and Anna; and sisters-in-law, Janet (Roger Daniero) and Linda (John Masney). She was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Mikan; father, Charles Haftman; grandparents, Catherine and Frank Mikan and aunt and uncle, Kitty and Bob Grote. Diana shared her Croatian and Polish treats with everyone. When she wasn’t cooking and baking for family and friends, you could find her hunting for antique treasure, watching her soaps, playing slots at Scioto Downs or tending to the plants in her yard. She loved her card club girls, partying with her lifelong friends (The Cook’s, Boling’s and Huntley’s) and spending time at her condo in Florida. Diana was completely committed to caring for her family, including her beloved dogs and grand-pets. We love you, Diana/Mom/Grandma/Bubba. You were adored and your presence will be missed, but you will forever live in our hearts, our traditions and our memories. Friends may call Saturday, May 10th from 3-6 p.m. at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 12th at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church 313 North State Street, Westerville. Fr. David E. Gwinner presiding. Entombment will be held Tuesday, May 13th at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
