Denny Jay Hamilton, age 61, of Columbus, OH, passed away April 7, 2017 at Riverside Hospital. Retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Member of APWU. Volunteer coach for girls softball team (SWGAA) for 9 years. Survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary; children, Jason (Kacey) Hamilton and Jennifer (Mitchell) Merth; grandchildren, Ashlyn, Mallory, Jaelyn, Alex, Lucas and Kellyn; mother, Bertha Mae Hamilton; twin-brother, Danny (Elizabeth) Hamilton; brother-in-law, Kevin Craig; niece and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Rev. Delmar Hamilton and sister, Tonya Lynn Craig. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. followed by a service at 6 p.m.. Private interment, Blendon Central Cemetery.
