Teena Nguyen - Nov 22, 2017

With a heavy heart, please accept my deepest condolences. While words may fall short expressing my sorrow, I am honored to have known Mr. Van Wassen. He had always welcomed me into your family’s home and cheerfully played along with my jokes as “Bob”. Even now, I still think of Mr. Van Wassen whenever I hear about the Steelers. His friendly nature has left a mark on my heart that I will always carry. My heart is with you, Krista and the Van Wassen family. With much love, Teena Nguyen

Toby was quite the guy !! With all that he has endured, I, for one, never saw him not face adversity with determination, a smile and an helping hand.

Lisa Ramsden - Nov 21, 2017

To Krista and the entire Van Wassen Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Van Wassen was a wonderful person and I always appreciated his warmth whenever I visited your house. I am holding you all in my thoughts.
