David Matthew Davison, age 83, of Mount Vernon, OH. passed away May 5, 2024 at home surrounded by his family. Owner of CH4D Tool and Die Company and taught mechanics at Riverview High School. Born in Westerville, OH to Matthew and Florence Davison. Graduate of Westerville High School class of 1958. David was a member of the Centerburg Conservation Club and Church of the Latter Day Saints of Mount Vernon. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed traveling to South Africa, Argentina and Wyoming to hunt. He enjoyed collecting guns, photography and restoring his collection of antique Jaguars.
Survived by his children, Matthew Davison (Ohio), Paul Davison (Mississippi), Roxanne (Seth) Berry (Ohio), Kenneth (Dina) Davison (PA), Richard (Deb) Hoffman (Ohio), Kimberly (Tom) Groshong (Ohio), Bryan (Tess) Hoffman (Ohio) and Cheryl (Eric) Driggs (Ohio); 29 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, wife, Dawna Jeanette (Capps) Davison, sister, Lene Davison, daughters-in-law, Linda and Kathy Davison.
