HERREN
David “Shamu” Herren, age 68, of Columbus, OH passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011. Member of Amvets Post 89 and Eagles Club. Avid fisherman. Survived by his children, Bret Herren, Angel Herren-Edison, Cassie (Bob) Herren-Elliot, Krissie Speakman and John (Darcie) Speakman; former wife and best friend, Joyce Del Col; brothers, Lance (Wanda) and Daniel (Wanda) Herren; grandchildren, Joseph, Brittany and Zach Herren and Jessica, Daniel, and Brendan Edison and Olivia, Meg and Ty Elliot and Brayden, Giovanni, Lochlann and Lilliana Speakman; great-grandchildren, Cole, Abby and soon to be baby Graycen; many other beloved family and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 25th from 2-5 p.m. at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville. A celebration of life gathering will be held Sunday, October 2nd from 2-4 p.m. at Amvets Post 89 3535 Westerville Road, Columbus. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 15120 Collections Center Drive, Chicago, IL 60693.
