August 23, 1943 - December 14, 2025
David F. Newman II, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and devoted family man, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, in Westerville, Ohio. He was born on August 23, 1943, in Columbus, Ohio, to David F. and Agnes (Cosgray) Newman.
David dedicated his working life to service and reliability, retiring after nearly 30 years with the Timken Roller Bearing Company. He also proudly retired from JCPenney after more than 20 years of service. His strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment were evident in all he did.
Though raised as an only child, David was never alone. His life was richly filled with family, which remained his greatest joy and purpose. He is survived by his five children: David (Karen) Newman, Leslie (Richard) Kennedy, Larry (Kristin) Newman, Michael (Shelley) Newman, and Matt (Lena) Newman.
David deeply adored his 26 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, taking immense pride in each of them. His life revolved around his family, and his generosity knew no bounds—he would do anything for anyone, without hesitation.
A celebration of life in honor of David will be held for family and friends and will be announced by the family at a later time.
David’s legacy is one of love, loyalty, and selflessness. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and forever remembered for the kindness he showed and the family he cherished above all else.
