DOVER
Dan E. Dover, age 84, of Westerville, OH passed away January 23, 2016 at St. Ann’s Hospital. Retired History teacher and coach at Whetstone High School. Graduate of Linden McKinley High School in 1949 and Otterbein College in 1958. Navy Reserve veteran. Member of Linden Lodge #637 F & AM for over 50 years. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy; daughters, Tracey (Art) Kearnes, Cindi (Jeff) Aquillo and Amy (Brad) Kreuzer, all of Westerville; grandchildren, Jaime (Jason) Connor, Jenni (Phil) Lockard, Heather Kearnes (fiance, Ryan Anthony), Kristin (Brett) Boylan, Daniel and Jake Kreuzer; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Brockman; several nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ruth Dover. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNEAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday 5:30-7:30 p.m.. Graveside service and interment will be held at Blendon Central Cemetery, corner of Hempstead and Dempsey Roads, Westerville, Friday at 11 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Buckeye Cruse for Cancer.
