To Danny’s family,
I worked with Danny during his time at Kal Kan and considered him a true gentleman and friend. Besides his family, golf was his passion and Hickory Hills Golf Club was his destination following his shift.

Dear Doss Family, Please accept my sincerest apologies for your loss. It is always hard to lose someone you love. I personally have lost loved ones in death and wanted to share a scripture from the Bible that helped me during this time. It is found at Revelation 3:4 ” And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” This scripture talks about who Jehovah God will wipe out every tear and death will be no more. Isn’t that an encouraging thought we can look forward to in the future? I hope this scripture was comforting to you and the rest of your family during this hard time. If you would like more information about this topic or about Jehovah’s Witnesses in general you can visit our website free of charge at www.jw.org. Thank you for your time.

Miss Mary, I can’t explain what Dan meant to me as a leader, mentor and friend…I’m still struggling with his passing and though I don’t cry often…I couldn’t contain myself last week when I heard the news. I lost a true friend…The things that my friend Dan taught me, will continue and live on in my work and future decisions, EXACTLY as Dan would have expected me to do…I hope this is a sufficient way to honor him and all he gave to us in our QA group at Horse Cave…
Please know Miss Mary that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family ALWAYS…I’ll have a huge hole in my life that will always be there, for my friend Dan:-) Thank you for sharing him with me for the past 5 and a half years. Please take care of yourself and ALWAYS know that you have friends in Horse Cave, no matter the need or occasion…

I am the eldest daughter of Harold Meadows, Louise’s brother. Though distance kept us apart, I will always cherish the memories from the earlier days in Madison, WV. There are no words that will take away the pain, just keep Dan in your heart and in your memories and he will never be far away. Love and prayers to you all. Vicki
