Constance B. Urton, age 86, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Columbus, OH. January 21, 2012. Formerly employed by Walmart, Johnson’s Catering and Fort Hayes. Member of VFW Post 3297 Auxillary. Survived by daughter, Candace Derefield (Todd Hoskinson); granddaughter, Andrea (Jeff) Vishak; sisters, Carolyn and Vivian; several nieces and nephews: Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday 6-8 p.m.. Funeral mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 N. State Street, Westerville, Friday at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Fr. David E. Gwinner, celebrant. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

Marie worked with Connie at Ft. Hayes. She was a true mentor to me (I was 18). We worked together for a year. She and Wally found our apartment next to them on Third Avenue. She and Bill ate Limburger cheese sandwiches and debated whether to use onion on them. We lost touch thru the years and regret that.
