Clark Bailey, age 93, of Westerville, Ohio went to rest with the Lord peacefully on February 28th, 2023.

He was born December 8, 1929 to Harry & Zella Bailey and was one of 11 children (2 others who passed in infancy). Clark, his parents and his siblings were all very close. He was the last of his siblings to survive. They are all now reunited. What a heavenly Bailey reunion that must be, as we held many memorable family reunions on Earth with this amazing family!

Clark married the love of his life, his sweetheart, Betty Wolfe, on August 29, 1953. They spent 63 years together before Betty passed away in 2016. He talked frequently about Betty and how much he loved and missed her. We know they are finally together again, hand in hand, as they should be.

He is survived by his children: Russ (Sue) Bailey, Patty (Dave) Marburger, Dean Bailey, and Christi (Ed) Green; Eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews.

Clark was a kind and lively person. He was never a stranger to anyone. He always served to make others happy and laugh. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved being outdoors and camping with his wife.

Clark retired from Westerville City Schools in 1997. He had many wonderful memories of working with so many amazing staff and children at Hawthorne Elementary and later at Annehurst Elementary in Westerville.

He was a long time member of Church of the Savior and later Genoa Baptist Church.

In his last couple of years, Clark resided at the Inn at Walnut Trail in Sunbury, Ohio. He loved his resort away from home and really enjoyed his Walnut Trail family. He was well loved and cared for by their staff. We are incredibly grateful for the love and care they gave him.

Friends and family may call at Moreland Funeral Home on 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Ohio on Sunday, March 5th from 2-4 pm or Monday, March 6th at 10 am with service following at 11 am; Pastor Torry Gligora officiating. Internment at Blendon Central Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers you may consider donating to: Dementia Society of America, American Diabetes Association or any other charity of your choice.
