Clara Mullins

Clara Mullins, age 74, of Westerville, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023. She was born in Jackson, Ohio on February 26, 1949 to the late Haldor and Pansy (Cline) Albert. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Perry Oliver Albert and Charles Eugene Albert; and two sisters, Nancy Albert Miller and Mary Albert Oiler. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Chris Mullins; sons, Chris (Amie) Mullins, Kevin (Jenny) Mullins; and 3 grandsons, Zachary, Jacob and Keegan Mullins; sisters, Barbara Farrar, Janet Sharp, and Karen Norman. Clara graduated from Jackson High School in 1967 as the class treasurer. She graduated as a member of the National Honor Society. She spent two years studying to be a school teacher and cheerleading at Morehead State University in Kentucky. Clara enjoyed the beach and reading, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, at the Moreland Funeral Home located at 55 East Schrock Road in Westerville, Ohio. The funeral services will follow at 4:00p.m. with Pastor Todd Roese officiating. Clara received treatment at The James and was a big supporter of the research for cancer at the Ohio State University.
