Sorry that this has come to pass. When sorrow falls on you, hope that you will be able to look back to the good days, the best days. It is not just the end days that define a person but those in the middle. Enjoyed seeing the video of portraits. Regretfully, I was unable to attend Chris’s funeral. May you find peace and love.

Chris was a shining example of how to serve the Lord. She often visited the sick and shut-ins, she always sent a beautiful birthday card with Bible verses and thanks for the friendship we had. Even as she grew weaker and less able to even come to church services, she had a smile and encouragement for those who visited. Her Westerville Bible Church family will miss her. We know that her husband and children will miss her even more, and we pray the Lord will comfort you.

When I think of my dear Chris Berger, I am overwhelmed by a person who deeply and sincerely loved the Lord Jesus. She was uncompromising in her stand toward Him. She was an avid student of His Word. Chris was a very kind, caring, loving compassionate person - shining God's love in so many ways. I fondly nicknamed her "Miss Help" because of her constant desire to come to someones aid in need. A beautiful example of Jesus, she was a treasure of a friend to me, I will miss her greatly.

Memories of Chris as I was growing up, hanging out at 1906 W 1st Ave with Molly & Lucy. I have fond memories of her. She was a beautiful woman who now is on dancing streets of gold with Jesus 🙏

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I remember Chris from her early childhood as "Big Sister" for your amazing cluster of siblings. May her soul come to the fullness of Eternal Life. God bless you all.
