Chester ”Sam” Hart, age 86 of Marengo, passed away Saturday November 17, 2012 at Knox Community Hospital. Retired farmer. U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Preceded in death by parents, 5 brothers and 5 sisters. Daughter-in-law, Dawn. Survived by loving wife of 63 years, Helen. Sons; Gary (Jean) Hart of Centerburg and Donald A. Hart of Killbuck, OH. Grandchildren; Gary, Jr., Debbie and Christina. Brothers Robert (Dora) Hart of Westerville and Donald E. Hart of Rockbridge, OH. Numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the JOHNSON-MELICK-MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 49 West Church Street Centerburg, 10 a.m. until noon Tuesday November 20, 2012 with service at 12 noon. Pastor Jim Perry officiating. Interment Eastview Cemetery.
