Charles R. Padrutt, age 86, passed away Thursday January 25, 2018 at his residence. Preceded in death by wife Patricia A. Padrutt and son Charles E. Padrutt. U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and retiree of Columbia Gas Company. Survived by son Richard (Claudia) Padrutt; daughter Pam (Luke Melvin) Padrutt; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; sisters Frances Jean Padrutt and Helen (Don) Miller. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, Monday 4-7 p.m.. where a service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 30th. Interment at Blendon Central Cemetery Rev. Don Miller officiating.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I too have felt the pain of losing some of those I love in death. I hope you are being surrounded by loving family and friends and taking care of yourself during this difficult time. The God of all comfort provides hope for those who have passed away and comfort for those who have survived. We are promised that our loved ones will return to us one day very soon. As Jesus resurrected his friend, Lazarus, and many others, you will see your loved one again. (John 5:28, 29) How the True God longs to do that! (Job 14:14, 15). Until then, may you continue to keep his memory warm in your hearts until you see him happy and healthy again one day very soon. Prayers and thoughts are with you . . .
