HOUSTON
Charles L. Houston, age 81, of Columbus, Ohio passed away September 7, 2017 into the loving arms of the Lord, and was happily reunited with his loving wife Mary Houston. Born November 20, 1935 in Huntington, West Virginia to Lowell and Gladys Houston. Survived by daughters, Cindy and Lisa Houston; grand-daughters, Nicole Bushby and Jennifer Mays; great-grandchildren, Matthew Mays, Jasmine McCaleb and Brittany Coleman; niece, Angel (Jason) Highley and family; 2 sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was a wonderful husband, father, Grand Pop, uncle and friend. He had a wondeerful career with Big Bear and Michaels. Friends may call Tuesday 5-7 p.m. at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, where service will follow at 7 p.m., Rev. John Taranto officiating.

I am so so sorry for your loss, Charlie as we called him at Harts had big heart, Had a lot of respect for him.. The Hand shake is something I will never ever forget. but if you had a problem Charlie is the one you called, he was old school but that was ok. Charlie always made me feel like family. I really gone to miss him.. May he R.I.P. he will be missed by everyone who’s Hart he touched.
