Charlene Ann Myers, age 84 of Westerville passed away August 8, 2026, peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family.

Charlene’s greatest joys in life were her faith and her family. She lived her life for Christ and was an active member of the Church of God Prophecy. She loved working with kids  and seeing them grow and teaching them through at home daycare and daycare within her church. She taught children’s church for many years.

She had a love like no other, everyone was welcomed in her home, and she made sure everyone was fed. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who had a special love of flowers, baking and cherished the times she had with friends and family, especially at Christmas.  She will be remembered for her kind ways, joyfulness, her sense of humor, and the love she shared with all who knew her. It started with two people falling in love, a love that  grew beyond and knew no boundaries…that love shaped everyone around her and anyone that met her felt it.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ellsworth and Irene Smith, and her brother, Ronald (Patricia) Smith. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Charles Myers; Her  sons Craig (Holly), Chad (Heather) and Curtis (Kim); Grandchildren Charlie (Brook), Calvin (Alex), Brendan (Courtney), James, Aubri (Alex), Laurana, Andrew; Great Grandchildren Scarlett, Evelyn, and Oliver.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, August 16, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Moreland Funeral Home, 55 East Shrock Road, Westerville, Ohio 43081. Additional viewing hours will be Monday, August 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a service immediately following. Family and friends are welcome graveside at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, 8089 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, 43068.
