Chad Michael Carlton, 45, of Hudson, Florida, passed away on November 18th, 2016 surrounded by loving family. A brittle diabetic for over two decades, Chad had fought the hard fight for many years. He is now resting peacefully, free of pain, in the arms of his precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. What a blessing it is to know that Chad does not hurt any more. Chad was born in Columbus, Ohio, and called Hudson, Florida, home for the past 25 years. A skilled mechanic and talented roofer, Chad and his brother, Ryan, founded Carlton Roofing in Hudson. Over the years, declining health made the physical demands of roofing too difficult. It was then that Chad turned his interest to computers, eventually creating Net Hosting Solutions. He was indeed one multitalented young man. Chad was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Ryan Keith Carlton, and mother, Rebecca Preston Carlton. He is survived by his father and step mother, Glenn and Sharon Carlton; sons, Todd and Ryan Carlton; sister, Lisa Carlton-Hart; grandson, Ayden Carlton; step sister and brothers, Jennifer Horman, Douglas Baer and David Baer; nephew, Kaleb Horman; nieces, Kelsey Carlton, Bellamy, Annie and Hadley Hart, Tasha and Devin Baer; uncles, Michael Preston and Keith Carlton; aunt, Melanie Carlton; cousins Robert and Leah Carlton, Adam and Aaron Preston. Chad will certainly be missed by those he leaves behind; but, our hearts are warmed when we think of the enthusiastic welcome he has received from his Lord. Chads funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Morlands Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, OH, 43081. Family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Interment will be at the Mound Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio, later in the afternoon.
