Condolences

Louann Miller - Feb 1, 2010

Carl,
I was pleased to see you and meet Carol on 12/16 at OSU East and thought of you both in the coming days before Christmas feeling sad over your horrible news. It was with surprise for George and I on 12/22 that we received the H1N1 vaccine in the morning and George began coughing harshly later than afternoon. On a trip to the ER that evening, he too was diagnosed with lung cancer that has spread into his liver and chest and abdomen. He is also terminal but is on a protocol for medications to shrink the tumors with the expectation that he might live 6-10 months. If the chemo doesn’t work, it will be a short time.
I send our condolences and now, unfortunately, know what you have suffered through this time. I can only pray that you will stay strong and ask that you do the same for George and me.
Best to you…Louann Miller
