Carlo Junior Carifa, age 94, of Westerville, a proud U.S. Air Force veteran, passed away on March 29th, 2025, at Danbury Senior Living in Westerville, Ohio. He was known for his warmth, kindness, and genuine love for cats. Carlo was always ready to lend a helping hand or share a smile. This was highlighted when he took care of his mother, sister, and niece when they all were ill. Throughout his life, he had a passion for investing in the stock market and was an avid Notre Dame football fan. In addition to his other interests, Carlo was widely recognized as a skilled handyman who performed maintenance work, and he also enjoyed a successful career as a salesman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlo Sr. and Igina Carifa; his sister Fannie Columbro and her husband Joe; and his niece Johanna. He is survived by his brother, Dr. Ralph Carifa; his nephews, Dr. Sam (Linda) and Mark (Barb) Carifa, and many grandnephews.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 9 th , at 10 a.m. at the Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, 9571 N High St, Lewis Center, OH 43035. Family and friends welcome.

Ralph and Mark, My deepest sympathies for the loss of your brother and Uncle. He was a very caring man. No matter what he was going through and the pain he may have been having. He would always ask me how I was doing. A very kind and caring individual indeed. He will be missed!
