I had the privilege of working with Brad for many years, and have some great memories. He was a natural detective, with great instincts and a never give up work ethic.
His battle with health problems in recent years proved even more just how courageous he was. He never gave up. A terrific example for all of us to follow during times of crisis.
You will be greatly missed Brad. To the family, please accept sincere sympathy.
God Bless you all

Brad has been a good friend for many years and I am sad to hear that he is no longer with us. He was a good dad, step dad, husband, brother and friend. The community will not be the same but his spirit and what he shared with all of us over the years will be in our memories… RIP Brother, your journey on Earth is over….hugs and kisses to all

So sorry to hear of your loss. My dad Ron Shaw and Mr. Pummel were from a different era of Westerville PD. Brad was my pee wee football coach Brad always had a smile it was an honor to know him.

Pummel Family,
Chuck is retired Columbus PD and I was with the banks. Both of us had the privilege to work with Brad in the 80’s and 90’s. A fine Westerville officer and always a huge help to law enforcement and bank security. It appears Brad had to go through some very bad health issues (do not know), but we are thankful he is in our Savior’s kingdom living eternal life. Our hearts go out to you as you grieve and may God’s peace and comfort be with you. Chuck & Lynn Woodard, Aiken SC
