Bonnie Jean Limes, 88, of Westerville, passed away on January 16, 2018 at Parkside Village from complications of a lengthy illness. For several years, she was lovingly cared for at home by her five children. Bonnie was more recently under the care of the devoted staff at Parkside Village in Westerville and Capital City Hospice, for which the family is sincerely grateful. Bonnie was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on January 16, 1930, the daughter of the late Wayne and Alice (Diehl) Hall. She married her husband of 53 years (Ernie) in 1949 and resided in Minerva Park since 1955 raising five children. Ernie preceded her in death on April 2, 2002. Once her children were raised, Bonnie began a very successful career in real estate with Century 21 that lasted for 30 years. Bonnie was a lifetime member of Westerville Church of the Messiah. In addition to her husband and parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Hall. She is survived by her children, Dana (Linda), David (Donna), Debbie (Steve) Maxwell, Dale (Gina) and Dawn (Mike) George, all of Westerville. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren were the focus of her life, with countless pool parties at her Minerva Park home and 25 years of summer vacations to Myrtle Beach, SC. Friends may call Monday, January 22nd from 6-8 p.m. at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, OH 43081. A service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 23rd at Westerville Church of the Messiah 51 North State Street, Westerville, OH 43081. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association of Central Ohio.
