Betty Dowl, age 95, passed away at home on Christmas Eva Day. Betty graduated from Cambridge High School in Cambridge, Ohio and The Ohio Business College in Columbus, Ohio. She worked as a bookkeeper in the insurance field and went on to work for B. Goodman Fashions as the top sales person for over thirty years. She is survived by her only child, Michele Dowl and her nephew, Richard Doyle and his wife Pam. Preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dowl. She loved her many close friends, golf and gardening. Everything she touched became more beautiful. She will be missed, but every time Spring arrives and a purple crocus pokes its head through the ground, Betty will be there. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday 5-7 p.m.. Private interment, Kingwood Memorial Park.. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Pets Without Parents would be greatly appreciated.
