ROBINSON
Barbara Ann Robinson, age 76 of Westerville, died Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on Sept. 27, 1934 in Parkersburg, W. Va. to Roscoe and Lula Chambers. She was a 1955 graduate of White Cross School of Nursing. In 1955, she married Leslie L Robinson, who preceded her in death. Barb and Les were a devoted couple and the parents of three children, Deborah (Joe) Blundo of Worthington, Mark (Laura) Robinson of Russia and Leslie Shannon (Mark) Bennett of Westerville. She was known as Meme to her six grandchildren, Noah (Elizabeth) and Celia Blundo; Roscoe and Max Robinson; and Tyler and Ashley Bennett. Barb worked as a nurse and a housewife before joining Les in operating a rental real estate business, Westecon. They were active in the Columbus Apatment Association for many years. Barb was a member of Xenos Christian Fellowship. She is survived by her children and grandchildren, sister, Connie (Martin) Trostle of Dillsburg, PA, and a brother, Ralph (Carol) Chambers of Parkersburg, W. Va.; and many nieces and nephews. Her family would like to thank her friends at Xenos for their steadfast support of Barb in the last years of her life. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday 6-8 p.m.. A memorial service will be held at Xenos Christian Fellowship, 1340 Community Park Drive, Columbus, OH Friday at 1 p.m. followed by a reception. Private entombment Blendon Central Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to World Team, 1431 Stuckert Road, Warrington, PA 18976 or Xenos Christian Fellowship Humanitarian Aid Fund, 1340 Community Park Drive, Columbus, OH 43229.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time of Barb’s transition. She is free and at peace at last.
She was a classmate at Riverside and left many fond memories, and ready always with a big smile.
