Barbara J. Rice, 79, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Friendship Village Health Center.
Preceded in death by parents, Ernest & Alice Reinhard; sisters; Evelyn Neff and Margaret Carle; brothers; James, Edwin and Alan Reinhard; daughter-in-law, Miriam. Survived by loving husband, James Roderick Rice. Children; Jack (Tammi) Rice, Jeffrey (Marilyn)Rice, Kathleen (Gerry) Vitek and Timothy (Rebekah) Rice. Grandchildren; James (Jenna), Gabrahm (Crystal), Kolbrin, Jacob, Audrey and David; sisters; Irene Wolfe, Janet Shuck, Carol Rittenour and Kathryn Britton. Numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road Westerville, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m Sunday. Funeral service will be held at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 East Schrock Road Westerville, 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2014 with visitation one hour prior to service. Pastors, Will Hartfelder and Richard Walston officiating. Graveside service and burial will be held Monday 1:30 p.m. at Brokensword Cemetery, Bucyrus, OH (Crawford County) Friends, if they wish, may contribute to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church Foundation, 100 E. Schrock Road Westerville, Ohio 43081.
