  Barbara Brockman, age 95, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024. She was born onJanuary 27, 1929, in Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents (Carl and Ruth Dover), husband (Bill Brockman), and brother (Dan Dover). She is survived by her 3 sons and their wives: Bill (Ellie), Steve (Deb), and Scott (Rebekah), her grandchildren: Leah Brockman (Josh Gerlick), Ryan Brockman (Amanda), Joel Brockman (Amanda), Kristin Reed (Chad), Tammy DelGado, Eric Brockman (Lorie), Katlyn Moyer (Brent), and 17 great grandchildren. Barbara went to Linden McKinley High School. She attended cosmetology school and was a beautician for several years. She was very involved in her children's sports activities. She especially enjoyed softball games with family and the relationships formed from that activity. She enjoyed multiple trips to Canada for walleye and bass fishing it was an annual event. She was also quite the baker. Oftentimes, she was met in the church parking lot on days of the bake sale where her pies would be purchased right out of her trunk. She was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and loved to sing. She will be sorely missed, but her legacy will live on through her children and their families. Visitation will be from 12:00 1:00 on Friday, December 6, followed by the service at Moreland Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bella Care Hospice at 110 Polaris Parkway, Suite 302, Westerville, OH 43082.
