Audrey C. Jay, age 97, of Westerville, slipped peacefully into the arms of our Lord on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at St. Ann’s Hospital. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Audrey was a great cook and baker, loved animals and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Mark) Crabtree of Westerville; grandsons, Mark (Jamie) Crabtree of Galena and Matthew Crabtree of Columbus; great- grandchildren, Ava Grace and Carter Jay Crabtree; her sister, Ethel Stevens of Rensselaer, IN; brother, Everett (Helen) Cavendish of Johnstown, OH; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Floyd, daughter, Diana and brother, Raymond Cavendish. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Sunday 2-5 p.m. where service will be held Monday, April 30, 2012 at 11 a.m., Pastor Richard Walston, officiating. Interment Maplewood Cemetery, New Albany, OH.
