Arthur Ronald (Ron) Greene Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio beloved husband of Helen Adams Greene; devoted father of Arthur Ronald (Kimberly) Greene III and Christopher Steven (Kristen) Greene; grandfather of Mary ‘Liz’ (Austen) McElroy, Katherine, and Nicholas, and great-grandfather of Charlotte, Sophia and Wyatt; Dear brother of Alan and Marcia. Ron passed away on December 17, 2014 at the age of 85. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Ronald Greene Sr. and Martha Geiger Greene, and his brother Clarence (Charlie). He is survived by many loving in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Ron was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Father Ryan High School in Nashville, Tennessee. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army, and was later commissioned Captain in the Ohio National Guard. He received his Mechanical Engineering degree from the Ohio Mechanics Institute (now the University of Cincinnati), and subsequently worked for the Aircraft Engine division of the General Electric Company, until retiring in 1990. During his employment with General Electric, Ron travelled the globe, often accompanied by his family. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, December 27 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery, Ohio. Friends and Family attending are asked to gather there by 11:15 am..
