To Beth & rest of Morelli Family:
Beth it’s been awhile since I’ve seen you in the days when we used to work together at Massage Envy in Westerville. You & Mary were my absolute favorite people to work with. It was always a guaranteed good time. I also enjoyed the times your Dad would stop by to say Hi and drive by on patrol. He was always so sweet and kind. I am utterly heartbroken. Nothing that anyone can say will ease your families pain but please know you and your family are so very loved and thought of at this difficult time. Please reach out if you need anything under the sun. Sending you and your family all the Love possible.
Xoxo

Nearly 12 years ago when my son was in middle school, he got into some trouble after doing something stupid. Officer Morelli contacted me and I met with him at one of the middle schools. He was kind and helpful and treated me and my son with care and respect. He came up with a great plan to have my son work off what he had done. I was grateful and will never forget his compassion or the interaction I had with him. I am so saddened and I offer my deepest condolences.

Brad shellito - Feb 13, 2018

I’m retired for seven years after working for Delaware PD for 36 ears. To the end I was still driving a cruiser working shift work and answering calls just like Officer Morelli. This really hit hard and affected me deeply as I made it and Officer Morelli did not. I can not imagine the horror and shock of that day not only for the families but also his fellow officers/brothers. It is something we think will never happen but it did and it hurts. Love and comfort to his family and fellow officers. I never met or knew him but would have loved to have known and worked with him

Pam Hulett - Feb 13, 2018

My prayers are with all of you. Officer Morelli was a Special Man who touched so many lives. He was our Block watch officer. The past 22 years, He was there every Nat’l Night Out with that smiling face of his. He shined in everything he did. Truly a great loss for our community. My deepest condolences. Prayers and Hugs to all of you!

Mr. and Mrs. Diggs Jr. - Feb 13, 2018

Our heartfelt condolences to you and your family. Your husband was a wonderful officer. A very genuine human being. Even with that badge he still showed a lot of kindness, care, and concern when he came to help. He came with a smile and put you at ease before he could even deal with you. We first met your husband when our child learned to use the phone and called 911 but he hung up the phone, Your husband came, but he didn’t leave right away, he did a walk thru, made sure everyone and everything was ok. Especially the baby. He even talked for bit. He was called back a few more times, but he never got upset. Instead showed a lot of kindness, and care. Thank you for sharing your husband with westerville, for letting him be a hero, to all of us. Truly a blessing. We pray you find comfort and peace in this most heartbreaking time. God be with you and your family. Thank you again.
Lennox and Edna Diggs Jr & Family
