Service
Friday, April, 18th 6 p.m. at Centerburg Church of Christ
Angela Kay Ferrell, 49, was called home on April 10 th 2025, after a prolonged battle against Metastatic Melanoma. She fought admirably to stay with her family as long as she possibly could but in the end, her body was too tired to fight any longer. Her husband Charles and daughters Kayla and Charley Grace were at her side during her time of passing.
Angie was born to Neil and Carol Stockwell on February 28, 1976, in Knox County Ohio. She attended Centerburg High School and graduated in 1994. After graduation, she obtained her BSN in Nursing from the Mount Carmel College of Nursing in Columbus Ohio. She later attended Otterbein University where she completed her MSN. After college, her career started at Saint Ann's Hospital in Westerville Ohio and she was last employed at Denison University in Granville Ohio. She selflessly dedicated her life to her patients working as a Nurse Practitioner always placing them above herself. Angie was a proud dog Mom to many Vizsla dogs over several years. She was apassionate fan of THE Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians, and Cincinnati Bengals. She loved listening to the Eagles and traveling whenever she got the chance.
But above all her favorite thing to do was to watch her daughters do what they loved. She was Kayla's biggest Softball fan and an extremely proud dance Mom to Charley. Angie could light up any room with her smile and had an infectious laugh. She had a strong faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who helped her through her battles.Angie was loved by all who met her and touched many lives. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Ferrell; and daughters, Kayla and Charley Grace Ferrell; mother, Carol Stockwell; and sister, Jennifer Curry.
Visitation will be hosted at the Centerburg Church of Christ, 3830 Columbus Rd, Centerburg, Ohio 43011 on Friday, April 18th from 4 pm to 6 pm with a memorial service immediately following visitation.
Donations in Angela's name may be made to the Family House, 5308 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15224. (https://familyhouse.org)
