Andrew “Andy” N. Smith, of Westerville, OH passed away July 25, 2017 at home. Born in Inez, KY to Goble and Blanche Smith in coal mining country. He worked hard, owning his own corporation, responsible for building some of Columbus, Ohio’s landmarks. He was made of wood, iron and dirt. He understood that hard work is it’s own reward. He continued to work every day of his life, until age 80. He is a retired member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 98, for the past 17 years has been a dedicated employee of Home Depot Gahanna. He was also an active member of Eastwood Seventh Day Adventist. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Jan; his children, Wade (Kelly) and Lauren (Jeremy); granddaughters, Ella and Hazel; and extended family. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Friday July 28, 2017 6-8 p.m. where service will be held Saturday July 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.. Private interment.
