Alice Jane Keir MacLean, 97 1/2 years old, entered this world on June 21, 1914 and passed peacefully into Heaven on February 8, 2012. She was born in Barre, Vermont and has moved all over the country, but has spent her last 7 1/2 years at the Village at Westerville in Westerville, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her parents, William and Jeannie Keir; brother Ed and sister, Dot. Alice is survived by a large and adoring family; daughter Janet (Jim) of Westerville, Ohio; daughter Barbara (John) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter Carol (Eddie) of Valley City, Ohio; son, Frank Jr. (Marie) of Fredrick, Maryland; 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and numerous dear friends all over the country. A private memorial service with her family will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Blanchard Valley Hospital, Hospital Auxilary, Findlay, Ohio. The family wishes to give their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Village at Westerville for so many years of loving care of our mom and grandma. Our mom and grandma was a lady of great dignity, kindness and generosity. She will be missed beyond measure, but have comfort that Alice is in heaven with our Lord and her loved ones who preceded her. Arrangements by the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, Westerville, Ohio.
