COLLINS
Alan Collins, age 84, of Westerville, passed away at home on Sunday, October 23, 2011. Alan was a retired college professor who traveled abroad with his wife. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving as a Navy pilot and retired at the rank of Captain after 33 years of service. A graduate of MIT and Stevens Institute, Alan was also an avid tennis player and itinerant line judge. He is survived by his beloved wife, Delia (Cortes) Collins (and her loving family), his former wife Connee Henry and their three children Clifford Collins (wife Carol), Pamela (Collins) Ingram, Scott Collins (wife Linda), as well as 11 grandchildren and many other loving, extended family members. Viewing will be from 7-9 pm Friday, October 28th at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, where service will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 29, 2011, Rev. Fr. David E. Gwinner, presiding.
