Ranjani Karthik, age 47, of New Albany, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 28, 2026 after a prolonged illness. She was born May 27, 1979, in Chennai, India, to Mrs and Mr Srinivasan Rangachari. For about 13 years, Ranjani served the Ohio State Department of Insurance where she was a Database Administrator.

She was fun loving. Her ability to make lifelong relationships left a lasting and meaningful impact both at work and in the community.

Growing up, she found joy in knowing Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She founded non- profit Soaring High International Ministries with her husband. She enjoyed singing in the choir which helped her build Praise and Worship ministry in her married years.

Ranjani found her true calling in building faith, serving the church and setting up several prayer fellowships to uplift others. She also had immense pleasure in raising the children and celebrating every milestone big and small. She loved to travel with her family. She was an avid cook and loved to entertain people in her house.

Ranjani is survived by her husband Karthik Rajaram, sons Abel and Caleb, parents, and brother. She leaves behind special friends and extended family members who will deeply miss her.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 2nd at noon at One Church, 817 N Hamilton Road, Gahanna, OH 43230 with Pastor Tim Crisafulli officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery, 4585 Reynoldsburg, in New Albany, OH 43054. Friends and family may visit Thursday, July 2nd between 10am to noon until the time of funeral service.

Whenever I think of Ranjani, I am reminded of how deeply she loved the Lord and worshipped singing praises to Jesus and hosting prayer meeting and events and she loved participating in CAFC and how much joy, strength and support she brought into our lives. If the Bible was written today, it could be said that there’s was a woman who was sent from God, whose name is Rajani. This woman was an angel sent on an assignment with the divine mission. Her Mission was Love and Prayer and encouragement. She made a profound influence and impact upon me and upon OneChurch. Her voice will echo in the chambers of the sanctuary and in the courts of heaven. I can’t remember when have wept as we as deeply as I have over her loss. She was truly a woman of God that inspired my heart and made me wanna be more like Jesus. We will miss her deeply, but rejoice that she’s finally made it home and she is fully well.
