Judith Allison Bush, 78, formerly of Westerville, Ohio, passed away on January 8, 2022. Judy was born in Columbus on January 3, 1944 to Jim and Doris (Buck) Bowers. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law Alice Bowers and brother-in-law Bob Scheetz.

Judy spent her early years in Westerville, Ohio, and afterward lived in Plain City. She graduated from Jonathan Alder High School in 1962, where she was in many activities. Growing up she was a member of Plain City Presbyterian Church. Judy was a dedicated employee of Chemical Abstracts Service for more than 30 years. She held multiple positions until her retirement in 2005 in the Editorial Division.

Judy spent most of her adult life in Westerville, Ohio where she hosted many family gatherings and holiday dinners at her house. Judy enjoyed her nieces and nephews and spent a lot of time helping with them when they were young, and attending their school and sporting events.

Judy will be greatly missed by her siblings, Duane "Buck" Bowers, Mary M. Scheetz, and Donna (Dave) Bennett, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Thank you to the wonderful, caring staff at Sunrise Assisted Living of Dublin.
Thank you also to Capital City Hospice for providing extra care for Judy since February 2021. They made her final days very comfortable.

Private services will be held. Arrangements by Moreland Funeral Home, Westerville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy's name may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or Capital City Hospice.

I was sad to hear of Judy's passing. I have wonderful childhood memories of Christmas family get togethers at the Bower's home in Plain City. My sincerest condolences to Buck, Mary Margaret, and Donna Mae. Jim
