Some quotes by Carol include, "I was the hottest WAC at the Presidio of San Francisco. I never danced on a bar, but I did start a couple of fights. We fell in love in the city by the bay. I had lots of fun going to garage sales with friends Wanda, Flo, Sally, Carol, Linda, Diane, and others. We never bought a lot, the fun was in the hunt, however I did buy a Sub-Zero refrigerator about twenty years ago that we still use. I had a good life. My kids still talk to me and to each other".

Per Carol's wishes there will be no services. Her ashes will be spread on the farm at the top of the hill, that is the only way she agreed to go to the farm.

The family thanks the staff at both the James Cancer Hospital and the Hospice of Central Ohio at The Ohio State University Medical Center that provided her wonderful care.

What a great picture of Carol in the Dispatch! That's how I remember her from our days at Nationwide. We worked together for awhile and Carol always had a smile on her face and something fun to talk about. I also loved the obituary as it was as though Carol was dictating what to put in the obituary. She will be missed by many. My sincere sympathy to all the family.
