Kylie Renee Hampton
February 12, 1997 - March 25, 2021

Tuesday, March 30th from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Genoa Baptist Church

Wednesday, March 31st at 10:00 am at Genoa Baptist Church

Sunbury Memorial Park

Kylie Renee Hampton, 24, beloved daughter of Todd and Lynn Hampton, was called Home to her Heavenly Father on March 25, 2021 after a tragic hit and run accident. She was born on February 12th 1997 in Westerville, Ohio. She graduated from Westerville Central High School, class of 2016. Kylie then attended Columbus State Community College where she received her Human Services Assistant certification in 2020.

Kylie was a devoted member of Dwell Church where she mentored and discipled many. The family will never know the impact of her testimony and the countless people her loving heart led to the Lord. She was a wonderful, selfless friend who could always be relied upon to lend a caring ear or helpful hand to anyone in need. She loved everyone for who they were on the inside and exactly where they were in their lives. Her many friends speak on how Kylie saved them from the darkest times of their lives with her light. Kylie never knew a stranger and saw everyone as a potential friend.

Kylie especially loved dogs and children, choosing to spend her career as a teaching assistant for preschool children. She knew how to meet a child at their level and loved every minute she spent with her students.

Kylie's family will miss her weekly weather reports, her monthly letters in the mail, her warm hugs, her beautiful smile, and her personal messages to us that were so timely, always knowing exactly what to say and what we needed to hear.

Kylie is survived by her parents, Todd and Lynn Hampton; her sister Ava Hampton; her brother Ty Hampton; and her boyfriend Ryan Reading. She is also survived by her grandparents Brenda Hampton, Norman (Pam) Huebner, and Judy (Terry) Little. She will be missed by countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and her endless stream of best friends.

Kylie's family is comforted to know that she has been reunited with her Papaw, Jesse Hampton, in Heaven.

The family is forever grateful to the staff on 4 Silver at Riverside Methodist Hospital for the excellent care they provided for Kylie.

Visitation will be held at Genoa Baptist Church 7562 Lewis Center Rd, Westerville, OH 43082 on Tuesday, March 30th from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm where a service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am. Interment Sunbury Memorial Park. Arrangements by Moreland Funeral Home 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, OH 43081.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Kylie's favorite charity, Fountain of Hope Cambodia.
