Irene Wood, age 90, formerly of Columbus, Ohio passed away at her daughters home in Sunbury on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. Retired from The State of Ohio. Enjoyed selling Avon for over thirty years. Preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wood, Sr.; son, Carl Wood, Jr. and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Floyd (Marie), Paul (Alberta), Edgar (Dode), Franklin (Florence) and Luther. Survived by her daughter, Carla (Doug) Stanley; grandchildren, Shanna Westbrook and Nicholas (Tiffany) Wood; 6 great-grandchildren, Dylan, Alexa, Brylee, Lilly, Bella and Maycee; sister-in-law, Betty Cain; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday, April 9th from 6-8 p.m. at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, OH 43081 where a service will be held Tuesday, April 10th at 1:00 p.m. Rev. David Hogg officiating. Interment Northlawn Memory Gardens.
