Erwin Voit

Erwin Richard Voit, age 93, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side, Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Retired auditor from the U.S. Postal Service. A member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Sunbury Ohio. Erwin was a devoted family man. Preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Dick Wern. Survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Sylvia; daughter, Christine (Robert) Brown; grandsons, Andrew, Michael (Danielle), Matthew (Naomi) and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Venice and Jolene; brother, Walter (Agnes) Voit. The family would like to give a special thank you to National Church Residences Hospice and the staff at Parkside Senior Living for their loving and compassionate care. Visitation will be held at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, OH 43081 on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. John Neumann Catholic Church 9633 E. State Route 37, Sunbury, OH 43074. Fr. Paul Noble, celebrant. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
