BUEHLER


Richard Alan “Rick” Buehler, age 61, of Westerville, passed away peacefully at home on January 25, 2016. He was born on May 6, 1954 in Lancaster, OH the son of the late William and Margaret Buehler. Rick was a 1972 graduate of Upper Arlington High School and a 1973 graduate of Columbus Business University and a Westerville resident for 43 years. Retired from Columbus Service Supply. He was a member of Blendon Lodge #339 F & AM. Rick loved the outdoors and hunting. Survived by his wife of 43 years, Christine (Wimer) Buehler; sons, Adam (Colleena), Kevin (Laura) and Craig; grandson, Connor Buehler; siblings, Tony, Annette and Jeff (Nancy) Bussart, Deborah Buehler and Melinda (Jeff) Frye; many nieces and nephews. Service will be held at Westerville Christian Church, 471 E. College Avenue, Westerville, OH 43081, Friday, February 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. with visitation 1 hour before the service, Pastor Greg Bondurant, officiating. Donations in his honor to Westerville Christian Church Friday Fare.

I was very sad when i learned that a dear friend of many years had just passed away.. I had just moved back to Columbus and I was going to contact you and Rick. I have so many great memories of Rick growing up with us, and his excitement when he introduced us to you. My wife and I will be there today to pay our respects.

Buehler family, Kevin and I are so sorry for the loss, Rick was a great guy who had an awesome laugh and smile. I remember all of the good times growing up on Collingdale and hanging out on Crosshaven court, he even gave me a ride on his Harley once and I loved it!
