Maureen “Peggy” Coughlin Buchanan, passed away Saturday October 24, 2015 at the Convalarium in Dublin, Ohio just a few short days before her 82 birthday. Born in Columbus, Ohio long time resident of Westerville. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude Coughlin Johnston and Howard Johnston and loving mother-in-law Bertha Buchanan. Survived by children, Diane (Oscar) Zangroniz, Chris (Theresa) Buchanan, Mary (Brad) Morrison, Kevin (Kelli) Buchanan and Kim (John) Wightkin; thirteen grandchildren, Regina and Christine Zangroniz, Brandon Buchanan, Adam, Andrew and Kristen Morrison, Kate and Claire Buchanan and Ashley, Brooke, Grant, Jack and Emma Wightkin; loving siblings Betty Arthur and Lawrence (Carol) Coughlin; many nieces and nephews. Peggy’s kindness, generosity and love was reflected in all who she shared her time with. Her contagious laugh, warm hugs and open door touched the lives of many. She will be remembered for the way that she approached life, her enthusiastic glow, and her grace and patience in challenging moments. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNEAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Tuesday 4-8 p.m. where a celebration of life will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., Pastor Frank Carl, officiating. Interment Kingwood Memorial Park.
