Jacquelyn Crim, age 89, of Westerville, died peacefully at home Thursday, July 16, 2015. Born December 11, 1925 in Mt. Clare (Harrison County) West Virginia, Jackie married Hale Crim in 1946. They moved to Westerville with their three children in 1960. Jackie worked as a secretary at Elliott-Cooper-Barr Insurance Agency in Westerville for more than 10 years. She loved meeting new people and making friends everywhere she went. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing the piano, bowling, playing cards and traveling with her family. Later in life, she split her time between Westerville and Cordele, Georgiawhere Jackie and her husband lived while they travelled to judge barbeque competitions throughout the South. Jackie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hale; daughter Denise McFarland; and brother Carl Bud Nepps. She is survived by sisters Wyeene Goodwin, Sue Gorman and Polly Carney; son Gary (Jenni) Crim; daughter Stephanie (Kent) Gibney; grandsons Geoff Crim and Kyle (Crystal) Gibney; granddaughter Arden Gibney; and great-granddaughter Lily Gibney.
