Richard “Rick” George Seemann, 73, crossed over to the side of spirits on Friday, January 2 after a courageous battle with cancer. Rick was born September 5, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He married Gayle Conrad on June 15, 1963. He graduated from the University of Minnesota; worked as Assistant Vice President at Equitable Life Assurance and Vice President at Integrity Life. He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family, fishing and studying various philosophies. His extensive travels carried him and his wife across six different continents Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Gayle, who never left his side; children Brian (Beth), Craig (Natalie Kogan), Jennifer Porter (Bob); grandchildren Shane and Josh Seemann; Sydney Mullett; Mitch, Luke, Gregory and Teddy Porter; brother David (Debbie), and sister Susan Phelps (Mike). Visitation to be held Friday, January 9, 2015 from 10am – noon at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville. A brief memorial service will follow at noon.
