Brian J. McKeon, age 76, of Westerville, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Retired sales executive from Continental Colloids. Former VP of Liqui-Box Corp. Long-standing member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church where he was active in the choir, Knights of Columbus, and additional religious causes. Survived by children, Glenn McKeon and Brian J. McKeon, Jr., both of Westerville, Matthew McKeon of Pittsburgh, PA, Mary McKeon (Tim Wallace) of Baton Rouge, LA and Lynette McKeon (Adam Lipin) of Summit, NJ; grandchildren, Nicole (Joe Roman), Sean, James Michael, Noah and Zackary; great-grandchildren, Abigail and Ashley; former wife, Carol McKeon. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Anne McKeon, brother, Wayne and sister, Denise Prenter. Visitation will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 313 N. State Street, Westerville, Monday, December 29, 2014 from 9-11 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., Rev. Fr. David E. Gwinner, celebrant. Interment immediately following mass at Pioneer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
