Edward M. Townley, Jr., age 85, of Westerville, formerly of Galena, OH passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. Retired from Rockwell International. Graduated from Galena High School in 1945. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Freda; sons, Mike (Linda), Gary (Mary) and Ron Townley; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Nettie Reiger; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sons, Kenneth and Rick, sisters, June and Ruth, and brothers, Dud and Bob. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Saturday from 5-7 p.m. where service will be held Monday at 11 a.m., Rev. David M. Redding, officiating. Interment Sunbury Memorial Park.
