Fredric Alan Bennett, age 66, of Columbus, Ohio passed away September 28, 2012 at St. Ann’s Hospital. Born October 29, 1945 to William E. and Frieda Conklin Bennett. Graduate of Westerville High School in 1963, Otterbein College in 1967 and attended Capitol Law School. He taught in Columbus Public Schools before a career in business and then as a landlord. He was an animal lover with a sharp intellect and jovial sense of humor. Religious music was one of his many spiritual interests and co-authored ”In His Presence” with his mother. Survived by his mother, Frieda Bennett; sister Phyllis Casto; brother, Benjamin (Kay) Bennett; nieces and nephews, Dean (Sara) Casto, Elizabeth (George) Matthews, Edward (Tammy) Bennett, Jennifer Bennett, Jeffrey W. Bennett, Emily J. Bennett, Lauren A. Bennett, Colin Ray Casto, Camryn Casto, William Casto and George Matthews, III. Fredric will be remembered by his long-time friends and business associates, Stan (Karolina) Liu and their children, John, Eric and Paul, and Jimmy (Celina) Rico; God-children, John Alan Liu and Ninette Giuseffi. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday 10-11 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m., Dr. Richard Ellsworth, officiating. Interment Pioneer Cemetery.
