Dear June and family,
The Hileman Family sends their sincerest sympathy. From being neighbors to fellow Lions and Lioness we remember Bill as always having a funny story to tell. We go through this time together as we just lost our wife and mother, Karen on July 28. We will keep your family in our prayers and thought through this diffucult time in our lives. May God Bless you all and all who knew Bill.

JUNE, BOB AND GIRLS
JUDY AND I ARE GOING TO MISS BILL SO MUCH, HE WAS LIKE A BROTHER TO ME. I WILL MISS MY MONTHLY PHONE CALLS, WHEN BILL AND I WOULD REMINISCE ABOUT OLD TIMES IN MARTINSVILLE. THEN WE WOULD TALK A LITTLE FOOTBALL OR BASKETBALL STAY ON THE PHONE FOR A LEAST AN HOUR. I WOULD ALWAYS ASK HOW ARE YOU DOING, HIS ANSWER WOULD BE ” NO BETTER..NO WORSE’. NEVER REALLY TELLING HOW SICK HE REALLY WAS. I REMEMBER HE TOLD ME BACK IN MARCH THAT HE WOULD NOT MAKE IT TO HIS NEXT BIRTHDAY, I TOLD HIM YES YOU WILL.
BILL ALWAYS HAD FUNNY STORIES, SOME WERE A LITTLE EMBELLISHED.
HIS WITT AND CHARM WILL BE MISSED. IT BREAKS MY HEART THAT HIS IS GONE. I KNOW HE IS IN A BETTER PLACE. GOD BLESS YOU BILL RIGGS.

June & Family,
Tom and I are deeply saddened by the news of Bill leaving this earthly home and rejoice in the news that he has gone to be with the Father in his heavenly home. May the Holy Spirit fill you with comfort, peace, and strength as you face the coming days.
