WOODS
Donald R. “Woody” Woods, age 58, of New Albany, OH. Passed away
unexpectedly on July 10, 2010 doing what he enjoyed most in life – fishing. There was hardly a time when Woody would turn down an opportunity to fish or take a crew out on the boat to cruise. He spent many mornings at the Buckeye Boat Club at Hoover Reservior drinking coffee with his good friends. If he wasn’t fishing, he was working on his beautiful aquariums in his home. Woody just recently retired from AEP after 40 years. His greatest love was his family. Survived by his wife of 34 years, Cindy; son, Casey; mother, Vivian Woods; brothers, Glenn (Jeanette), James (Margaret) and Charles Jeffrey Woods; sister, Sharon Woods; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended families. Funeral service will be held at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock, Westerville, Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 2 p.m. where family will receive friends from 12:30-2 p.m., Deacon Craig Smith, officiating. Interment Cheshire Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Whittemore Peterson Institute, 6600 N. Wingfield Parkway, Sparks, NV 89436. Condolences at morelandfuneralhome.com.
