Francis S. Balassone, Jr., was born to eternal life on April 24, 2010. He was a loving husband, devoted father and brother. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 41 years, Patricia (Doyle); his daughters, Erin Elizabeth and Emily Rose. brothers; Paul, John and Mike. Sister-in-law, Suzanne Friedman, uncle Fran Bond and Aunt Claire Barry and many friends and neighbors. He had a long career in Human Resources. He was beloved for his kindnessd and generosity to everyone. He enjoyed coaching his daughter’s softball teams and growing the best grassd in the neighborhood. He was a supporter of Ohio Sports, especially the teams of The Ohio State University and the Ohio Dominican Panthers. At the end of his life, Frank was lovingly cared for by John London, Dr. Anthony Restuccio, Fr. Rod Damico, Mary Jane Elam, Bev Irwin and the women and men of the James Cancer Hospital. Wewill hold him in our hearts and attempt to live as well as he did. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord. 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday April 28, 2010 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 North State Street, Westerville, Ohio. Fr. Rod Damico, Celebrant. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, OH.
